The Destinado Malbec 2010 is made in small batches. This red and full bodied wine is classified under the dry red type. With Malbecs used as the central flavour provider, it constitutes of 13.9% alcohol. The wine is hand harvested another feature that makes it stand out amongst other wines from the Malbec wines. Deep in the Uco valley after it is hand harvested, it is then aged in barrels made up of oak for at least eight months. This variety uses both American and French oak to age the wine. The wine is then laced with amazing scent of espresso or caffeine giving the wine an intriguing yet distinct quality. It is a full bodied wine that has red cherries and strawberries in its mix with a tinge of citric acid opening the taste to the lush taste of both of the plum and juicy fruits.
